Cleveland Housing Advice Centre (CHAC), based in Middlesbrough town centre, has been supporting people since 1991. CHAC provides various services to include:

  • advice on statutory rights to people who are homeless, threatened with homelessness or living in poor conditions
  • free representational advocacy service at Appeal Tribunals and County Court
  • outreach advice sessions in local community hubs supported by home visits for vulnerable groups
  • crisis support
  • job training for prisoners, ex-offenders and young people at risk, leading to volunteer opportunities

The Albert Hunt Trust has provided unrestricted awards towards CHAC’s running costs and wanted to share this video summarising the work they carry out, which was produced by a local volunteer media student . https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Yf-JA67j9i50qP4xiZrvOqCcjtnFgXG6/view?usp=share_link
