The Trustees of the Albert Hunt Trust are very aware of the severe impact COVID-19 is having on the charity sector. During this unprecedented crisis we will continue to support charities and have no plans to scale back the overall level of our grant making. However, we wish to ensure that funding provided by the Albert Hunt Trust is applied as effectively as possible, to benefit the health and welfare of people in need.
We have therefore decided that until further notice we will not be considering grants for capital projects of any nature. This is to ensure that we can channel our support to where it is needed most during this time of crisis. We will review the position in July 2021. If you are planning to apply to the Trust for a grant towards a capital project please defer your application for the time being and check our website in August 2021. Any grants for capital projects that have already been agreed are unaffected by this announcement.
Our usual funding criteria is we do not accept repeat applications within 12 months of last applying but for hospices we will consider a further application after 6 months.
