The Albert Hunt Trust has joined The Hymans Robertson Foundation to fund bursaries for young people in Glasgow and Birmingham, expanding to London and Edinburgh next year, supporting those facing hardship or homelessness.

Marcella Boyle, the CEO of The Hymans Robertson Foundation commented “Support from The Albert Hunt Trust is welcomed, at a time when we continue to see increased demand from young people for small grant funding to overcome hardship and/or support their development. The Trust’s funding is flexible which gives us opportunity to target specific cities with priority to Birmingham and Glasgow initially, and from 2026, Edinburgh and London”.

Jane Deller Ray, Operations Manager for the Trust commented “City based bursaries support children and young people in a meaningful way, providing much needed support at times of hardship or transitions. We recognised in Birmingham particularly the focus on supporting young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness. Our funding, with others, provides small grant funds to help young people progress and thrive. We noted the positive impact of bursaries to date, we are pleased to be part of a funding partnership that provides dignified financial support”.
